MobileMikeV 07-13-2005, 10:39 PM It may be that time... other things have come up, have to maintain a car, insurance and a developing recording studio... And... maybe the time has come to (eesh this hurts) um.. stop racing?? I haven't decided yet but possibly this could be the last race :( I dont know.. maybe I hate to do it but its expensive and doesnt come up that often. Maybe further into the winter get back in?? I need some type of physics related hobby/job. I'm still doing CAD work so maybe i can help the hobby out that way. I suppose this means this will be my last race for a while. Maybe I will come home this saturday with no tool boxes, tires, paragon, or my trusty and loyal car and radio which have both been with me from the very start of this hobby, an unfinished prototype car.... I'll be back! dont worry, but for now i need to sacrafice this in its entirety to fulfill the expense of a changing life. I hope to be back as quickly as possible, hopefully by the middle of winter. I don't know how much my all my stuff is worth, its worth 3 years to me, but to anyone else who knows? I have to get quite a bit of money together within the next 3 weeks and this is one of the things that has to go for now. If anybody is interested you can call me (401)-573-4000 or just talk to me saturday if I make it up there.. I need to get about $2500 together so the closer you can get to that the more of a help it would be. -Mike Voccola MobileMikeV 07-14-2005, 05:47 PM ------ bojo 07-15-2005, 05:47 AM Maximus just got putnam motors in stock .if you want them dyno or rubuilt. I personally had a great time and hope all the racers that took part also had a good time. Most of all I would like to thank James Jay for the late, but well timed 4th of July firework show... Congratulations to Jason Lambert for holding onto his 19T winning streak even with some major competition today. I am really looking forward to Race #4 to see what falls out in the Stock class. Special thanks to - HyperDrive, Futaba, HyperForm and Putnam. Maximus Jason Lambert 07-16-2005, 11:52 PM Thanks Heath, competition today was intense for sure, had to earn every inch today. Having a good finish definately means more when there's a bunch of good guys there to race with. Stock will get interesting, as myself and probably a few others will run stock now at the last 2 races, see if we can't get some teamwork going for the 2 time winner of the series so far :) bojo 07-17-2005, 06:24 AM great Jason can block for me. had a great time . the car ran great thanks to Jason for the help. should of won my main if it wasn't for that miss hap. thanks to putnam motors had my most laps there 3 times and just mist 50 laps bojo 07-17-2005, 06:26 AM dennies i see you on here get to work ud21 07-17-2005, 11:14 AM Eric Salvas could you e-mail what you ran for tires in both stock and 19t. Bill glad that you and Jay had a chance to make it...Yes hoping to get you both back to the track...Make plans for the trophy race coming up in Sept.. Jason Lambert 07-17-2005, 04:51 PM Bill, I'ms ure that there will be a bunch of us all going.. should all get together double/triple up on the rooms, the room that Joe and I got Friday night was 145 for one night... makes for a expensive trip if it's only 1 or 2 people in a room. Keep in touch, good to see you made it up, fun place huh. ovalrc 07-17-2005, 06:47 PM This was my only Saturday off till the end of September, normally I'm working at my uncles track. We were off this weekend due to Loudon running. I will be back for sure during this years race season. Until then I have to squeeze in what I can at K&N. ericsalvas 07-18-2005, 07:08 AM Eric Salvas could you e-mail what you ran for tires in both stock and 19t. LF and LR: green(newest batch they made since april '05) RR: white-gray RF: grey-silver(1/3 silver) paragon left side..tq mod right side(tq mod being less aggressive than paragon) 19t... same tire setup as stock....but a grey RF and paragon all way around hope this helps Eric team BSR team Custom Works TQcells bud3738 07-18-2005, 02:27 PM Did my eyes play tricks on me or did I read that Jason is 'Wrenching" on Bojo's ride.... . Hope to make the next event guys...had to work...Good job locking up 19T Jason... will make the stock real interesting for the next race............Rick Jason Lambert 07-18-2005, 05:09 PM Thanks Rick, and yes, stock will be. Ed asked me to take a look at his car.. after finding a couple things that definately needed some attenion, and a tire change, his car started to go around pretty good actually. I think that in a clean heat, a 51 lap run would have been his..... so that's a good improvment. dancingd 07-18-2005, 06:01 PM Also there was a shock change as well..I noticed that he drove his car alot better when he was driving from the middle of the drivers stand instead of the end and he also noticed it to..Yes stock will be real interesting at the next race.. Bill Johnson 07-18-2005, 06:09 PM The second driver for Bat Motorsports will be back in the house at the next race, sucks I missed this last one,,,,(damn family events that could get me killed if I wasn't there)....................... Bill Johnson Bat Motorsports  Anchor2 07-19-2005, 11:20 PM Looks like Jimmy and I are going to have a good battle for points........... Bill Johnson Bat Motorsports I don't think I can make the next race Bill, however everyone is going to run stock, since 19T has already been decided. But, I'll be willing to run 19T at the last race if enough show up. We can battle to the end! Anchor  HyperformRacing 07-20-2005, 12:26 AM What's up guys! Do any of you know Nick Dorocz's email address? If so, please email it to me at lbrosco@Hyperform-Racing.com. Appreciate it! Jason Lambert 07-20-2005, 05:29 AM I don't think Nick has an email address... or at least not one that he ever reads. Maximus Raceway 07-20-2005, 10:15 AM I have posted a motor rule update/correction on the homepage of my website. Please take the time to review it. It may effect some of the stock racers that have been taking part in our Oval Summer Series. If you would like to discuss this please feel free to call or email me. Thanks to all the racers who are attending the Summer Series. Heath Jackson Maximus R/C Raceway 207.351.1520 http://www.teammaximus.com/ info@teammaximus.com Jason Lambert 07-20-2005, 12:33 PM Good move... should put a stop to some questionable things out there. bud3738 07-20-2005, 02:37 PM I already thought that the qaud mag motors were not allowed at this series... Jason Lambert 07-20-2005, 02:54 PM I already thought that the qaud mag motors were not allowed at this series... This statement right here... is exactly the problem. It has now been resolved, so it's a non issue, but the original ruling did allow them, but not the advanced timing version, only the strait 1/2 1/2 version. All quad magnet stock motors, as well as epoxy balanced ones are not not going ot be allowed. I can say this much, the rest of the series will get real good, as we will see just who was running them, and who was not, ans how much of an impact they really had. Not to mention that the 19 turn drivers will now be joining the stock ranks, and I'm gonna try to pull vinnie out of the woodwork to come up too.. add another into the swing of things, gonna make anyone that hasn't gotten at least 2 real good runs ( top 3 I'd say ) really have to work to try to make a move up in the standings that's for sure... but hey.. that's racing :) Bill Johnson 07-20-2005, 08:12 PM I don't think I can make the next race Bill, however everyone is going to run stock, since 19T has already been decided. But, I'll be willing to run 19T at the last race if enough show up. We can battle to the end! Anchor  All well, that's cool Jim, It's always good racing with you, It'll still be just a fun at the last race................ Bill Johnson 07-20-2005, 08:14 PM add another into the swing of things, gonna make anyone that hasn't gotten at least 2 real good runs ( top 3 I'd say ) really have to work to try to make a move up in the standings that's for sure... but hey.. that's racing :) So all us buschwackers are going to have to regulate for the rest of the series.......? :p Jason Lambert 07-20-2005, 09:56 PM nope, not that at all. If finishing 2nd in 19 turn is something you wanan do, that will be easy, probably only be a couple guys that still run it Bill. I'm saying that with the 19 turn guys running stock, it's gonna be alot harder to even make the main in stock, and if you don't make the a main, the points you get will not be enough to take a charge for the title that's all. As for regulating anything... I'm at a loss on that one. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2013, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
