RTOURANGEAU 05-30-2005, 05:50 PM Why would the 19turn rules be like ARCOR, I just went to The Maximus site and it says ROAR rules apply for Stock and 19turn, 24deg fixed timing. I think that needs to be clarified. Just reading the rules. Let me know Bob T bojo 05-30-2005, 06:27 PM you do not have to belong to roar.as far as 19 turn Heath will have to let you know on that won .but mike should know because he race's there alot.and I belive mike is right. Heath doe's bend the rules some to make the racers happy. He just won't let me run a 10 turn with the 19 turn  bojo 05-30-2005, 06:43 PM bob just read the rules for 19 turn and it says up to 36 degress Maximus Raceway 05-30-2005, 10:40 PM Hello - Our rules are based on ROAR they are not 100% ROAR rules. Most of the questions posted are covered under Oval Ruels on our website. I have put a few parts of the rules in this post to try and help. Maximus 1. LEGAL MOTORS: Stock motors legal to use @ Maximus R/C Raceway will be (stock) 27 Turn, re-buildable 24-degree motors. Stock & 19 turn must have tagged armatures and Cans marked. ("EPIC 27","EPIC 19" etc.) Tags must be firmly in place w/ no signs of tampering. Any motor without the proper tags and markings cannot be raced. Quad Magnets are legal, with the exception of the "Outlaw Stock". This motor advances the timing via the magnets. 2. HYBRIDS: No hybrids will be allowed. Switching arms, cans, endbells and brush hoods between manufacturers is illegal. Motors must be in original configuration as they came from the manufacturer as approved by the R.O.A.R motor committee. Brush hoods must be original items provided from the manufacturer. (This includes all classes, stock, 19 turn, and Mod) 3. MOTOR TIMING: No mechanical increase or decrease in timing will be allowed. This includes, but is not limited to brush hoods, endbell, armature, can, timing rings and magnets. Original magnets will be used in factory configuration. Removal or re-gluing of magnets is not allowed. Brush cuts are left to driver discretion. Endbell notch must be original size and lock firmly into can with minimal movement. Epic "Outlaw Stock" motors and cans are not allowed. 19-Turn class max timing is 36 degree bojo 05-31-2005, 06:28 AM Heath I can't belive you were up at 11.oclock you better get some rest you must be sick. LOL  The Jet 05-31-2005, 09:08 PM Bob, ROAR has two set's of 19 turn rules, one for ON ROAD and one for OVAL. Basically, ARCOR motors are the ones to use . Later, Bret RTOURANGEAU 06-01-2005, 08:49 AM Thank you all for letting me know about the 19turns. I'll just have to borrow some motors from my son to run on Saturday. Myself and him are leaving our 19T's home and Gonna try Stock for the 1st time on this track.....See you guys in a couple of Days........Rick dancingd 06-02-2005, 10:48 AM Stools are for the benches against the wall...Chairs are for the tables.. Maximus Raceway 06-02-2005, 10:50 AM Are the tables stool height or chair height, which one works better??? Bob T Excelent Question - We use benches and tables. So if you bring a stool you will pit at a bench if you only have a folding chair you can pit at a table. We will make it worke for you depending on what you bring. Left mine behind......It either says Samsonite or American tourister on the handle..... I left it by the soda machine near the front door...........If you find it can you place my name on it...should be there on the 25th...let me know......thanks for a good time... Jason Lambert 06-06-2005, 08:24 AM Race was a good time. First time I"ve gotten to run since the WB. Sorry for the slightly aggressive move in the main.. but it was one fo those deals where there wasn't enough time left to try to get around clean, and I knew I had enough speed to get the job done, saw an opportunity, and took it. I think that if the shoes were reversed... the same thing would have happened and I would have been on the receiving end.. anyone who doesn't think so... wasn't racing for points to get a free 400 dollar radio. :) Where it was the first minute, I really don't know.. lap times clearly show that I lost something the first minute from every other run... why it decided to kick in for the last minute.. wether I was just faster, mike's car went flat and that's how I caught him, I really don't know.. but usually it's pretty hard to make up 1/2 a lap in the last minute in 19 turn racing, but I managed. I'll be back for the next race, unless something comes up.. but I'll try to put a stop to that. Delivered! Jason Lambert 06-07-2005, 10:39 AM [QUOTE=THE DARKSIDE]Delivered! [/...QUOTE] Gotta do what ya gotta do.... we've all been there. bud3738 06-07-2005, 12:22 PM yeah....I also got delivered......Wont be the one holding back next time........... Jason Lambert 06-07-2005, 05:46 PM Yeah you did Bud... but by a guy that has a nack for doing that to people constantly. I don't usually play that dirty.. I usually get all that out of my system by the end of pratice.. guess nearly 5 months away from it left a little more of that in my system then normal. But then again.. had I not used that specific "bump and go" technique... I would be sitting in 2nd. Guess it comes down to who wants it more.. and I must have wanted it more then Mike did. jmracing 06-07-2005, 06:59 PM Jason are the banks of K/N in your future?? Jason Lambert 06-07-2005, 09:19 PM Not sure John... I'm gonna do the summer series # york, after that, see what time allows for. I'm gonna make a decision late september about going to Florida for snowbirds.. if I'm going, it's a flat track season exclusively for me. I just can't see praticing on a track that won't do me any good for the one big race of the year.... it's kinda like a football player doing batting pratice during training camp... not gonna do much good, know what I mean? If I'm not gonna go to florida, then I'll race when I can where I can, and go with that. I really do wanna get back to that race, I missed it last year as the house hunt was in full swing and I just didn't have the time then, but I'll see where I'm at after the wedding and go from there. bud3738 06-08-2005, 02:39 PM Hey Jason...Swansea Mass is doing flat track on thursday nights......Stock Mostly..Its a short tight track.....But fun......If you can get a car to be free enough to be fast there..it will hook up on any flat track.....As far as a certain someone having a "Nack" for doing that....Thats pretty sad....cost me a broken rf rim, servo and body post... Jason Lambert 06-08-2005, 02:56 PM If we are talking about the same guy... which I think that we are... there's nothign you can do about it. I heard about the swansea track.. a pair of 2 by 4's for an infield.. sounds like a car desroyer.. and a 2 plus hour ride for me. No thanks, not gonna learn much on a paperclip like that.... I'd be better off racing around my basement.
