mc
bshields 04-29-2005, 05:41 PM Cool - I do not know what I will be wearing but it will be something - be thankful! ROF..... plus it is still a little chilly...
Got my BK2 today in the mail. Can not belive the deal I got for $220 shipped off e-bay. I totalled what was in the auction and it retailed for about $1150 - now I look and he threw in about $100 of extra stuff - he got major positive feedback! And he charged me $20 to ship and he priority mailed it and paid like $32 - but I might send him some money because of what he gave me to be right. I have to get a body but that is it.
Weather does not look good for us on Sat - give me time to go thru the car!
Any help on set-ups for the track on a MF2 and BK2?
mc
I just started running the BK2, so this will be it's first outing (ran B4 last year). I just looked at some setups on the Losi site and came up with something to start with. So, we'll see if it works.
As for truck, I don't have one. So, I'm no help there. I might get one later in the summer, though.
rctazmanmc 04-30-2005, 12:02 PM Who all is going today?
Weather still looks iffy but 2 of us from Sandusky may run up to give it a try!
mc
rctazmanmc 05-05-2005, 04:29 PM Looks as if Sat will be a good day.
Gonna show up way early to get some practice and work bugs out.
Talk to you guys later....
mc
Fantom 05-06-2005, 01:06 PM If you want the batteries done I will their. I have a yellow to red fade body on an MF2 so you can finds me.
Thanks,
Mark T.
HookupsXXX4 05-06-2005, 03:01 PM Hey Guys,
What is everyone running for truck on Saturday. The talk was mod will be the big draw. Just wondering.
See ya all this Saturday,
Jerry
bshields 05-06-2005, 03:21 PM Chuck,

rctazmanmc 05-08-2005, 11:13 AM Gotta say that the racing was fun and the monster truck main at the end was sweet!
Was bummed on the turn out for electric though - hope more guys come out so we can have a little more of a raceing pack.
Jerry - Marty - Mystery guy - just remember MAXAMPS.COM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just shot something off to them about us and some other things.
See ya later
mc
Fantom 05-08-2005, 11:32 AM Is he going to keep going on about maxamps next week too?
Jo jo FRY 05-08-2005, 04:06 PM There wasnt alot of electric there?
Fantom 05-08-2005, 04:13 PM Nope, Not really. Not as many as last year. It was the first race of the season though. So maybe more people will come in a couple of weeks. Where were you guys? Are you coming next week? If I can get my XX-4 working I will run it. If not I will be in stock truck again.
Thanks,
Mark T.
Jo jo FRY 05-08-2005, 04:31 PM I am gonna run vienia next weekend stock truck and nitro truck or stock buggy ... Just glued up my ifmar pins for both:)
HookupsXXX4 05-08-2005, 07:24 PM What's up guys,
First off, last night was great. Hats off to the crew that put on the show. For being the first night of the season, I thought that everything ran smooth.
I would have to say that the main to watch last night was the Monster Trucks, killer stuff.
See ya all next week, and what is wrong with MAX AMPS?
Jerry
Fantom 05-08-2005, 09:39 PM Who said anything was wrong with maxamps?
windix60 05-09-2005, 03:01 PM The track was awesome. A few little fixes here and there after the dirt settles it will be top notch. Mod Buggy was awesome lets keep that class alive!!!!!!!!!!!
rctazmanmc 05-09-2005, 03:14 PM It was brought up to me and a few other people that the powers to be wanted to throw out maybe runnning a unlimited class on the buggies due to the turn out - might have to on the trucks as well.
I am going to run buggy and prefer stock but they wanted everyone to talk about it and make a decision for this Saturday.
Track was great - we need to get more electric guys out there - I do love the smell of nitro but do not want the hassle of the nitro world.
Everyone else post what they thought of the track and such.
mc

Feel the power - unleash the pain!!
I would be very interested in running a unlimited truck class!..
Thanks,
David
ProfitOfDoom 05-09-2005, 11:20 PM That was my first time out racing "IM HOOKED!" I only competed in the MonsterTruck class,But I am soon gonna get one of those 1/8th buggies. "Im the guy with the yellow maxx" as for the track I thought it was awesome good jumps, nice strait away,Just Plain fun.I am also gonna get a electric stadium truck to,But the buggie will come first.
I seen some buggies take a beating and stil keep going this weekend, are they all pretty tough? The guy next to me had a Mugen prospec I was just checking prices and they seem a bit steep for me right now,I seen some hyper 7's rtr for about 500,I can deal with that, but if they are junk Ill just wait a bit longer and buy a good one. Also on another site soem recomended another RTR buggie called the Mayhem, can anyone help me out on the buggie issue?
Thanks,
Brian
Mames 05-09-2005, 11:25 PM damm that was fun saturday night, that track just tacked right up after the sun went down, it went from dry to tacky in no time. i wanted to stay around and watch the gas mains but my son and his friend were cold and tired.
profitofdoom what happend??? did you break??
matt
HookupsXXX4 05-10-2005, 12:23 AM What's up guys,
As for as running a unlimted truck class, why would we. There was plenty of stockers there. It really don't matter to me. For the most part, us stock guys where turning better times the the mod guys. We will think of something I guess.
Later all,
Jerry
ProfitOfDoom 05-10-2005, 01:20 AM Mames,I thought I did but it was some silly thing,a battery poped out of place in my reciever pack and I had no radio signal. But I left too because I didnt think Id be out that late, and had a friends Birthday to attend,So went from the track to bar,"the village" maybe you know it its in your area.
But I think I will go out this saturday again if weather is good, also I will be buying a canopy,I was thinking when I got there and all these guys are putting up tents and canopys,im like these guy are really into it,Then when I woke up with my neck Burning I knew why :)
Get your maxx broke in so we can race!
rctazmanmc 05-10-2005, 06:09 AM The unlimited class was just a thought - since I am going stock truck that only leaves a few in mod truck and then I guess they will have to run stock! Run stock truck with Jerry and stock buggy with Marty the maxamp guy!
Was a really good time even staying till after midnight.
ProfitOfDoom - glad to hear you are hooked!!! Need to get your Maxx running like th younger guys Revo - that was just wicked - I just do not have the money to trick one of those out like that and run it.
Mames - what were you running?
Guys - we need to spread the word about the track and promote the website once they get done with it - yes I asked and they are having someone make a website up - that will help out more.
mc
MuchoMadness 05-10-2005, 12:51 PM Fellas!
Sounds like everybody had fun & the weather was good. Sorry I couldn't be there, had strippers to attend to in Windsor. Gotta keep the pimp hand strong, ya know.
What were the mod & stock buggy lap times? Qualifying/finishing order? (A.K.A. = who was "the man"?)
BTW - Just my opinion.....keep stock & mod separate when ever possible. Mod drivers may choose to run a "stock" motor in the mod class if they think it will make their lap times quicker, but don't persecute the "stock" drivers by making the class "open". Like I said, just my .02
Hope to see everybody this weekend!
Later-
JM
HookupsXXX4 05-10-2005, 01:37 PM Do you think anyone whould be made if we brought strippers for pit girls?
Just Kidding
Jerry
ProfitOfDoom 05-10-2005, 10:01 PM No prob here :)
Mames 05-10-2005, 11:29 PM profit hey shoot me an email and i link you to the site....
the rest of my break in should be done tomorrow probably get 2/3 tanks in should get me up to 7/8 tanks should be safe there, now racing i do not know if i will race it. but i will run during practice and on fun race days, i just like lelctics to much and have to much invested, but who knows if my son steps it up and can wipp my ..., i will be running a different class as i have told him if that happend he would get my truck....
rctaz... i run a t4 with on orange rtr body on it, took 1st in b main stock/unlimited class. my son tuns a t3 he had his beater body on, he won the novice main.
that revo was nasty, i just hope if i try with my maxx i can run pretty decent compared to that revo..
i realy want to try my n.rustler there so i may bring that with me saturday as well
now lets pray to the weather gods that it will be nice....

HookupsXXX4 05-11-2005, 02:19 AM From the weather report on good ole 19 Action News, they are saying that we will have some spotty rain. Who knows, things can change by then. I am sure me and Mike will be there.
Oh, Mike, did you get my e-mail about the brushes? I am going to try that new F brush that is out. I got a set from Cyrul, he said that they should work well for off-road. We'll see. I am making 9 laps this week, hopefully.
Jerry
rctazmanmc 05-11-2005, 06:05 AM Jerry - got the mail - I got 16+ pair, if they work out good I will probably get more. If the f brush works then that might be the ticket.
Tweaked one m.s. motor and the thing is sick - got thru 4 last night and have about 5 more motors to do - have a couple more handouts from the gate that will be like the m.s. - really need to find or borrow a dyno to see what changes with what we do.
Mames - I remember the truck now. I will be running stock truck and buggy now so I will be a little more controllable and happier.
B.T.W. - I do not trust weathermen or weatherwomen - they are put in a job that jerks people around more than a nascar race - must be nice to have so much control over people you never meet - lol....
Hope to see more people out - plan to use my "gift" this week on something - need some tires and stuff.
mc
Fantom 05-11-2005, 08:39 AM Ya, I never listen to the weather until the day before the race. And Dick Gotard is starting to get a little rusty. His forcasts are bad.
Jo jo FRY 05-11-2005, 12:05 PM f -brushes make good power in offroad .. there a little soft and dont last long though :(
HookupsXXX4 05-11-2005, 12:31 PM What's up gang,
Jo Jo- whould I go with red and green for springs with these brushes. Cyrul told me to try purple springs, but I think that is to hard of a spring.
Mike- I got two motors ready for this weekend. I set one up with the F brushes and one with 767s. We'll see what happens.
To the Monster Truck guys- With me moving out into the country in a couple weeks, I have been thinking on what I have been really missing with this hobby. Remember the good old days, back in the 80's, when R/Cing was bashing with your friends in the front or backyard for about 40 minutes, then your battery dumps, and you have to charge it over night. Well, I want a monster truck.
Now I know that both Losi and AE have one. I am a Losi guys, back all the way to the JRX2, but what one is better. What I am looking for is not really speed, but power. Something that can handle anything. I know nothing about nitro in anyway. I have always been electric, so any help would be great. If there is anyone at the track this weekend with a Losi look me up. I will been pitting behind a red Focus back by the creek.
Later,
Jerry
Jo jo FRY 05-11-2005, 04:49 PM Yea red and green or red on both sides .. Depends On the monster .. The only time i have used purple springs is when i used the new xxx trinity brush ... Acording to my dyno anyways red and red or red and green ...
HookupsXXX4 05-11-2005, 05:07 PM What's up,
From what 19 Action News is saying that we might be looking at thunderstroms on Saturday. I hope not, I am ready to start racing for points.
I haven't ran a points series in a long time. For some reason, the last two years running on carpet, the tracks I have been to don't even bother with it. I love it, something to work for.
Later all,
Jerry
Fantom 05-11-2005, 05:49 PM Ya, there fun. I hope it doesn't rain. I really want to try the new set-up I put on my truck.
Fantom 05-11-2005, 09:43 PM Have any of you guys done cranking on the comm? Wouldn't it just make the armature off balance?
Mames 05-11-2005, 11:54 PM i just want to get this series started so let just hope the rains are light, realy hope for no rain but a light rain if any. i would also like to see a full parking lot, i heard it happend once last year and would like to see it.
later
matt
HookupsXXX4 05-12-2005, 01:41 AM Hey guys,
I don't know if any of the guys that run the raceway come here, but I will throw this out there anyway. Since it looks like it is going to rain, why can't we see if we can run Sunday in the a.m.? If we had the same turn out as last week, we whould be out of there by 6 or 7 if we start at 11:00. Just a idea, I really what to get the series started.
Jerry
