hi there:was just woundering why many of the team associated drivers prefer the molded tub chassis over graphite?p.s. ryan c. makes the switch to associated and after only a few weeks with his new rides cleans up at the '05 losi race.looks like driving means more than what car or truck you drive,just my opinion...havea good day :cool:

it depends on the track and what works there i know a couple Factory AE guys that run the plastic chassis with the rest of the car in carbon

the carbon is stiffer, lighter(not much of a gain), and is a lot more twitchy and responsive

the composite(plastic) has more flexs and is stronger than the carbon
