I always say no question is a stupid one.Mainly because I sometimes think that the ones I ask are stupid. Here's another........

AS I said,I have been working stock Super G+ cars any way shape or form possible, using only stock parts.Until tomorrow that is,when I hit the race and grab some aftermarket stuff to play with. But anyways,I can take these cars apart just fine.It is putting them back together that is killin' me.Either I slap them together in 30 seconds,or after an hour I want to put the one I am trying to reassemble onto the basement floor and smash it with a ball peen hammer.

Any of you guys have a tried and true way to reassemble these back together????? I'm stumped. :freak:

Thanks.You guys rock.

It depends of which parts you're talking about. Getting the endbell on? Getting the motor/endbell assembly back in the chassis? Describing how to do it in words is a lot harder than showing someone in person. Try to find a resident G guru where you'll be getting your parts and have them walk you through it. Most racers are more than willing to help a comrade.

The one thing I can describe a little is to slide the motor assembly with motor magnets and endbell as a single unit into the chassis - one side at a time. I know some people talk about spreading both sides of the chassis at the same time and there are even spreading tools for this. But with the propensity of newer SG+ chassis to break these spreaders are going to generate quite the bone pile. Don't feel like a dork if it seems too hard at first or if you - egad, break the chassis. You won't be the first and you won't be the last.

I understand...
I have a pair of G-3s that can be a pain..
I did buy the endbell tool... That takes care of one problem.
