MCRC Specialties A.L.S Adjustable Lower Suspension Arms
Here is a GREAT NEW PRODUCT!! These are MCRC Specialties A.L.S (Adjustable Lower Suspension) Arms. They are machined Aluminum, and are FULLY ADJUSTABLE!!. You can raise and lower your front ride height in a matter of seconds by loosing the 2 "tie-down" bolts, and adjusting the height of the arm with the 2 set screws on the top. Comes with Lunsford turnbuckle and associated eyelet. Check out the photos of the arms and their instructions.
These are in use by nearly a dozen racers in the midwest already. I personally run them on my car, and they are great!! If I want a little more, or less rake in the car, or need a little more ride height, I can change it in just seconds!! No washers to fiddle with!

Roll center will allways change with ride height unless you also adjust arm angle to counter the ride height movement. But changing the arm angle will have an effect on your camber gain. Roll center, ride height, and camber gain are all interconnected and one cant be changed with out effecting atleast if not all the others.

burbs 04-17-2005, 04:49 PM id like to know where the misconception of added weight to the front end being a bad thing..... anyone ever see a trinity front end???? there is more weight there, then any possible front end.. and the cars work... and work well....
all added weight in front wil do is help the car steer more.... its no different then running a heavier bumper. i e breaking to many grafite ones, and using kydex instead... or using aluminum body munts instead of plastic,.. or mounting your transponder ibn front of ther front wheels... ect ect ect... There is no perfect balance.. no one has ever set a special front end weight maximum.. get your setup working, and it wont matter if these weigh a few grams more...

There's no misconseption at All, but all your going to have to do is mess with a set-up that you already have trying to make up for the difference. Half the cars out now have alot of steering, I see no reason for it, but it's great that someone came up with something different for a change, now the lazy guys don't have to replace shims and save a minute.........To begin with, that was just "MY" 2 cents.............. :thumbsup:
