The 7th ever race at the 'Rock is coming June 25th. This year's event sponsored by RC4LESS.com!! Friday night June 24th is under the lights practice and the Thunder 100 enduro! This race features the all new All-Star race for past Race Rock champions with a bump-up alternate race with 10 other selected racers to try and race their way into the All Stars - for an awesome prize. New for this Race Rock is the Outlaw class - Late Model Stocks! Already looks like a field of 10+ with this new class. All classes running - Arca, Busch, Nextel, Hooter's, Classic's, Mini-Cups, and Outlaws. 99 entries at the last race, 98 before that one.. so maybe we will break 100 for this 1 day short track oval race in Orlando, Flordia!

Mike, count me in ...... Race Rock is always fun ...... maybe this time Kat, Ronnie and I can get the pitstop portion of the enduro under 50 laps .......LOL.

Hello racers... just bringing this to the TOP. The race at the Rock is about 6 weeks away and lots of racers excited to race it. Flyer coming this week on the Thunder page.

Cliff - sorry I missed your post. The Late Models are using McAllister Knoxville bodies. It will be 4cell stock - any stock motor. The bodies come with the dams and spoilers we are going to allow. I seen one run tonight at the local races and it hooked up awesome and looked killer on the track... and was stable and smooth! I can mail you one - let me know.

Do we need to bring a generator or are they going to have power hookup there??

generator is a must have .....

There are a few outlets off Race Rock that racers have used in the past with good success. If you have a generator I would bring it so you can pit closer to the track.

We can get the vortex from the copters flying in and out next door hehe.

We have more pre-entries this year than ever... should be good. Got Moukie and Kenny running the show. Even got a new PA system with wireless so Kenny can interview you while you are racing.

Mike I went and did it.. and it hurt too! I am afraid my 9.99 speakers here at MTR have only a week or two left. Last weekend Kenny sounded like a drunk DJ with a sinus infection.

Hello racers.. we hope you are planning on racing the 7th Race Rock Oval Champs presented by RC4Less.com. The race weather is looking great with no hurricanes in site and racers from all over the South are meeting in Orlando to race. It is going to be great. Moukie's running tech and Kenny is on the mic. The race is this upcoming weekend - Saturday June 25th at Race Rock in Orlando.

There is a class for everyone:
Arca stock is a sportsman stock class, and Busch is a pro stock class. For 19 turn, the Hooters is a sportsman class and Nextel a pro class. Mini-cups are 1/12th scale 19 turns. We also have the new Outlaw Late Model stocks and the traditional fun class of Classic Stocks!

All-Star Invited racers from Race Rock are running the special 'Race for the Cup' with a 'do-or-die' qualifying heat Saturday morning to make the 100 lap final Saturday night. The best of the best race it out! Awesome! Couple racers on the list still haven't emailed they want in.. 17 of 25 are in it as of now!!

Friday night is the Thunder 100 3-man team enduro race. 1 driver - 2 pit men. You must pit between lap 20 and 80 and change all 4 tires. Sign up for this now if you want on the Thunder chat. Only 10 teams make it in. This is Friday at 9pm. There are trophies for all 3 members and cash to the winners.

Registration for racing is Saturday morning from 8am-10am. Lots of practice Saturday morning. There is practice Friday from around noon-10pm. We will have lights. If you can't make it Friday it's cool as Saturday a lot of racers come.

RCDriver magazine will be doing a write-up in their magazine. So we will be taking a group shot of racers and cars before the start of racing. Racing to begin around 10:30am. There are 3 heats of racing with a re-sort. There are also bump-ups for the B-mains into the A's.

If you have family of friends - have them tune into Thunder as we will have all the race results, practice times, standings, etc broadcasted thanks to RCresults. We also will have our webcam taking pics and streaming from the track. Tune in Friday to see the action if you are coming Saturday morning.
