Seaview 04-10-2005, 12:52 AM SciFi Metropolis has just updated their website, and it looks like they are FINALLY ready for pre-orders thru Robot Factory  RMC 04-10-2005, 09:52 AM i wont believe it till someone gets one first !!!!!!! heiki 04-11-2005, 09:07 AM Since they have pictures of the kits waiting to be packaged, why would we need to pre-order? Y3a 04-11-2005, 03:21 PM So they will put them IN some packaging? I wonder HOW BIG the box will be when they do the 4 foot job??? Other than the glass in the window, it looks GREAT!! JamesDFarrow 04-11-2005, 05:35 PM Link please. James :) bil4miller 04-11-2005, 07:34 PM Ordered my kit last week. Seaview 04-12-2005, 12:16 AM http://www.robotfactory.net/Jupiter2_Kit.html Be the first on YOUR block to have a 24" Jupiter II with a stable hull & be the envy of all you see! JamesDFarrow 04-12-2005, 02:02 AM Thanks! James :) starmanmm 04-12-2005, 05:02 AM Well, I am interested, but I have to say that I will wait until some people have gotten their kit and and report. Richard Coyle... didn't he at one time do the ST phaser and communicator? A Taylor 04-12-2005, 10:38 AM SFMetropolis is supposed to be sending me a review kit in a few weeks, I'll post about it here as well as write it up for the magazine. AT Y3a 04-12-2005, 04:43 PM "in a FEW weeks"..................................... veedubb67 04-12-2005, 05:57 PM I wonder if they'll be at WF again this year? Bet they'd sell a few kits. starmanmm 04-13-2005, 05:04 PM I wonder if they'll be at WF again this year? Bet they'd sell a few kits. If they have one physically there, I would buy one. Trek Ace 04-13-2005, 11:00 PM I take that what they mean by every detail present in the skin of their vacuform skin that they are talking female molds and (hopefully) at least .060-.080" thick material to have any kind of rigidity at 24" in diameter. I'll look forward to seeing photos and reading the reviews. Y3a 04-14-2005, 12:04 PM Well, as discussed before, the actual 4 foot hero had no door detail or buttons etc. I really think what they are making is a conglomerate of all the details from the set, and SPFX models. starmanmm 04-24-2005, 04:09 PM So, did anyone get theirs yet?? starmanmm 05-06-2005, 03:56 PM So.... any word on this kit? A Taylor 05-08-2005, 11:21 AM Charles sent me an email letting me know my review kit is delayed for a few weeks - lots of response and preparation for Wonderfest is slowing things down. Hopefully he'll have them at Wonderfest. AT Y3a 05-08-2005, 08:58 PM "for a few WEEKS" ... !!?? woof359 06-25-2005, 11:21 PM the Sci Fi Metropolis 2 footer is 26 inches not 24 right>? vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
