Last night I decided to take my future step son out for a night of slotcar racing for the first time since he's on spring break. He did ok, got last but didn't crash anywhere near as many times as I expected. He did the old slow and steady hold the trigger in one spot. Before we started racing he was using some of my race cars to practice. I built a lifelike super stock (silicon coated tires, lexan body, silver elec.,etc.) that ran really well. He hit the wall the car landed on the floor and when he got up off his chair to get the car the chair fell on the car. It somehow managed to bend the steel magnet plate that goes over the arm and bent the armature shaft itself, talk about trashed. It was a brand new arm too. I didn't get upset though, I mean what are the odds. Just thought I'd share the story.
