I just got a Comp. Elect. Pitbull X3 battery charger and getting a low amps reading when trying to charge, anyone know what the problem could be, it is powered by a Comp. Elect. 23amp power supply, could someone please give me some advice on the proper settings on a Pitbull X3 charger, to charge 3300 nimh 4 cell batteries, thanks.

I need more info. What are your settings, do you dead short your batteries and what kind of connectors do you use?

Ken, as far as I know I have it set to peak charge 7amps on 3300 nimh, thats the problem, I don't know what settings I should have it on, I don't have the manual just guessing at the settings, no the batteries have not been dead shorted, the connectores are the alligator clips on the charger clipped on to the battery solder tabs.

Where is your peak detect set at. It should be about .032 for 4 cell. I went to CE website but didn't know how to attach the pdf file for the owners manual. I see Tres already did.
If somebody knows hows to attach files or pics to this site let me know how.

Thanks alot guys, I found out that one of the 10amp fuses on the charger was blown, replaced it and it works fine, Hobbytalk is such a great site, so much information shared on all the topics of this great hobby.
