View Full Version : sometimes ebay is just crazy.... mking 04-05-2005, 01:22 PM http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=2619&item=5966859177&rd=1 (http://www.qksrv.net/click-1606754-5463217?loc=http%3A//cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D5966859177) Anti-Cop 04-05-2005, 01:26 PM Yes, I saw that this morning and thought about how Jag has them for $20 (i think, or is it $30). Someone should buy out what he has and sell them on EBay. Good profit. LOL. Ligier Runner 04-05-2005, 03:15 PM I think sometimes people read "NOS" or some other nice little phrase and think "this is the only one left on the planet!" and proceed to bid without thinking it through. I see that quite a bit regarding items I go after. I'm beginning to think demand doesn't drive up the prices...it's idiocy. rodstrguy 04-05-2005, 05:47 PM I just think there are people out there that get caught up in the rush of buying something... Someone just paid $41 for the Black Impala from the Bowtie lineup. Cool car, but that is almost half of what you can get the whole case for. roadrner 04-06-2005, 02:38 PM I'm beginning to think demand doesn't drive up the prices...it's idiocy. I would have to agree. It never ceases to amaze me the number of bidders who will be willing to part with their cash on eBay (http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-1606754-2202639)http://www.awltovhc.com/image-1606754-2202639, acting as if that's the only place to get whatever it is they're bidding on. Guess doing a little internet shopping or research is so time consuming. Then you have those individuals that believe that they have to be the first to have one and the $$$ go up. My favorite bidder. rr noddaz 04-06-2005, 02:40 PM Seems kind of funny refering to JL cars as "New old stock"...... Scott vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
