I know that you can only charge for 3000 seconds (indy car faceplate), Can I set it up to repeak automatically and finish the chage?

Yep, should work fine... Heck, even my T35 has a similar problem with dead-shorted 4-cell oval packs (charge quits at 2719 seconds)... I just do a second "peak" and no-problem...

Tom, are you charging at 5 amps or what??? My packs tend to peak around 40 minutes @ 6 amp charge.

Yep -- sort of "old school", still charging at 5 amps... I need to bump that up to at least 6 amps... That won't solve the cutoff on dead-shorted packs, but it will give me a better "bump"....
