The PRO-LINE MAXX Performance Steering Kit has been re-released do to popular demand!

The MAXX Performance Steering Kit includes an integrated heavy-duty servo saver, four ball bearings for ultra-smooth side-to-side action, blue anodized aluminum hardware, and super-tough performance.

Integrated, Heavy Duty Servo Saver
The new heavy-duty servo saver is solely performance minded. It is 100% integrated, replacing the flimsy servo saver that is typically found on the servo itself. The new design ensures less gear stripping to the steering servo, while enhancing steering quickness and stability. Simply tighten or loosen the adjustable servo saver according to your needs, conditions, or servo type for maximum performance.

"Free Floating Action"
The "free floating action" is represented by 4 integrated ball bearings. Side-to-side action feels almost weightlessness and ensures more true type steering turn-to-turn. Responsiveness and quickness are also attributed to the ball-bearing action.

Aluminum Hardware
The MAXX Performance Steering Kit is combined with blue anodized aluminum hardware including the steering bracket, steering tubes, and the sleeves for the bracket. The brackets have been upgraded from plastic to an aircraft quality aluminum, which will nearly eliminate steering bracket failures. Both the steering tubes and steering bracket insert are made of the same high quality, ensuring less wear.

Super-tough Performance
Super-tough performance is attributed to the all-new steering kit. With 40% stronger bellcranks, anodized aircraft quality aluminum, and an integrated super-tough, performance minded, fully adjustable servo saver the MAXX Performance Steering Kit is the number ONE choice and is a new standard for MAXX trucks.

Features:
• Integrated, super-tough, fully adjustable servo saver
• 40% stronger than standard steering kit
• Aluminum hardware replaces flimsy plastics
• 4 ball-bearing for a free floating type feel
• Fits T-MAXX, E-MAXX, S-MAXX, SPORTMAXX

If I remember correctly, this is not a bolt-on item for the emaxx. some cutting of the steering holders on the stock chassis is required to make it fit.

You are corect sir. you must cut one post on the chassis off for installation on a E-Maxx.

I didn't even realize they discontinued the kit for a bit. Huh. Both my son and I have the kit on out E-Maxxes. Makes a HUGE difference in steering.

I'll speak for him as i am his son.

First of all, it has Ball bearings which reduces drag, and also it has a lot tighter fit which makes it a TON more responsive. I also like that it has a servo asver built into it so you don't have to run the big kimbrough servo saver you can just run a servo arm and i like that setup better

Hope that helps and if i missed anything i'm sure the old man will cover it

Have these been re-released yet?

I am trying to get one that can be shipped to the UK. Unfortunately Tower hobbies who i usual use for maxx stuff don't show them as being available.

Anyone else know places who will ship to the UK ?

Yes they are available. You will however only be able to get one from a place that deals with HRP Hobby Distribution, which Tower does not as they are "technically" a distributor themselves and HRP has an exclusive on this item. I have one in stock but you are in the same boat unfortunatly as I don't ship outside the US, sorry. :(

Hi,

I live in Norway and just got mine from Hobbyoutlets.com. They take Paypal and it took less than a week to get one to me.

Do you guys use another servo saver in addition to the pro-line set-up. I just received a set from an ebay auction that came with a servo saver, but the servo saver is so week that the truck barely turns (The servo itself is upgraded and turns, but the servo saver eats up all the torque).

Another question. when installing, do you put a washer or something between the proline arm with the tension adjustment and the chassis? My set-up was binding, so I put a washer between the buckle and and the chassis. There is still a lot of friction in that spot, though.

Thanks in advance,
