Here is the latest I'm working on. Its the 50 Buick mold I use to make. It was cat in black, trimmed and slammed down on the Hot Rod Wheel base TJET. I had to cut the front body post and reposition it. The whhels are stock NOS painted with an anodizing red and I tried to hand paint the outer rim. I'm not totally happy with this set up. I'm going to drill a new axel hole above the HOT Rod axel insert a piece of brass tubing and use a pair of my Fat Fender wheels and a large headed straight pin for the fronts. The staight pin heat is just the right size for baby moons. I'm going to paint the Fat Fender wheels with the red anodizing paint then paint the outside rim white. I will have to slam the front end down some more when I reposition the axel. The decals are radical decals, the body was spray painted with Model masters Lusterless (flat) and I use Aluclad Chrome on the bumpers. What I moticed is teh Aluclad takes on the shine of the underlying paint so if its flat it come out flat. Next time I'm going to clear coat the bumbers with Future before applying the Aluclad. The glass is Krystal Klear applied with the body back in the mold. I added the glass before I clear coate the body. It held up well to the laquer and shined up nicely with some future at the end

Now THERE is a tough looking car! Just need the greesy teen in the leather jacket leaning up against the fender while he pulls a comb through his duck-tail!
It is GREAT, Roger! Aaaye...

Roger, I missed out on the chebby rat rod you had on e-pay... :( Are you going to put this on there also??? I was looking at the picture of the bodies that you used to do and was wondering if the Hudson is one soon to be done again??? If you do put it on e-pay I will try again to win it...

Looks like it needs to be placed in front of a diner somewhere out in south Jersey. rr

Thats a great ol' rat Roger! It does look like it should be cruising around looking for a street race. There's nothing cooler then vintage iron and hot rod culture. Great job....now how do I get one??

Thats a real cool Buick ! Yesterday I actually saw a 1:1 scale of that car in Brooklyn ! It was the same color & the owner said it was a '49 (basicly same as '50).Did need some TLC but do-able.Keep it up !
