Dip, I dunno, I sure hope everythings ok with him. I knew he said he wasn't going to watch racing this year except for the race Bill was in. But he didn't even show up on the raciong board last week when bill was racing?!? I have some Bill Elliott stuff to send him but I need to get his addy to send it to. I can tell you he's OK, but I lost his E-mail address. He is kinda of busy these days, he got his new 'Stang in, I think it spends all his time either sitting in it or driving it.

'88 Plymouth Reliant K. If it hadn't been for this noble steed, I would not have made it to Fest last year. My '94 Talon decided to self destruct the day before I was to leave for Fest. So I borrowed my Grandpa's mighty K Car. That got me to a friend's house, and we used his Oldsmobile to get the rest of the way.

I might add that the fact I got to Lightning Fest '04 was a miracle. The K wasn't running at 100%... so there were times I was going 50 MPH with the pedal to the floor, getting passed by semi trucks left and right. But then suddenly it would kick into 'bat out of a Meatloaf album' mode and I'd be passing those same trucks back, holding on for dear life.

I'll see you around on the NASCAR board the next time Bill's racin'. I'm skipping the races he skips this year.

However I will still offer comments on issues that occur during the season, even if I'm not watching. The members here are better at reporting things than Fox, NBC, or NASCAR.com, so there won't be a lack of things to comment on!

Besides, there's still plenty of good episodes of 'As The Wheel Turns' yet to come! I think that the recent rules infractions will be touched upon in the next episode... ;)
