I have a windshield for an aurora GT-40 with AFX on the back window. Which GT-40 did this come with?

Which GT-40 did this come with? roadrner 03-25-2005, 08:56 PM Looked through Bob Beer's book, didn't see a GT40 TJet or AFX. Possibly a Ford GT? Have a pic? rr hartracerman 03-26-2005, 07:15 AM I'm sorry I meant a ford GT and it is a Tjet hartracerman 03-26-2005, 08:26 AM Took a couple of pictures; again this is from an aurora Tjet Ford GT the question is which one? jeauxcwails 03-26-2005, 11:16 AM TJets predate AFXs by up to eight years, with about a year overlap in transition from manufacturing/warehouseing/distribution of the two lines. The car in question was not made as an AFX, so what you probably have is a homeapplied decal, likely some kid goofing around - much like today when you see a "Corvette" rear window decal on a Chevette. Of course I could be wrong, and you could have a rare factory prototype. Jeauxcwails hartracerman 03-26-2005, 12:06 PM This was bought from a store when I was a kid. I just want to put it back in the right one. I just can't remember which one. hartracerman 04-13-2005, 10:37 AM I believe it was this one that was an extra body that came along with a tough ones car. If I do remember right the car with the chassis with this set was a yellow willys with purple stripes, and getting the flamethrower GT added frosting to the sale bought at that time 2 Guys store. I thougkt it was funny then that the AFXwas on a T-jet body and both cars being T-jets. The AFX cars weren't quite out in our neck of the woods then, But they were known about. I also believe there was advertising for AFX on the card. BTW this body has never been mounted to a chassis. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
