erock1331 03-24-2005, 05:36 PM Haven't been there yet but they opened up a 125-130' flat oval there. New Ozite, run on Saturdays. Doors open at 10:00AM and Racing starts at 5:00. 3 heats followed by the mains. I hear its a really nice place to race.
Some of us are making the trip down April 2nd for some test and tune before the Roar Nats. Their main classes each Saturday are 4 cell stock, Busch, Sedan Oval and BRP 1/18th scale. Sounds fun.

I hear J Fo might be making the trip
Kenwood 03-28-2005, 11:54 AM I did not even talk to J FO about it at the track saturday...LOL... He was one I forgot to mention it to.. LOL
Rick Liehr 03-29-2005, 08:21 AM What are the pit spots like? Do we need tables, chairs, ext cords, lights, etc?!?!?!?
Thanks,
Rick
erock1331 03-29-2005, 08:48 AM Rick
From this pic looks like they have the lower tables.
I will find out more and post back later.
erock1331 03-29-2005, 09:21 AM Rick
They said all the pit stuff is there. Don't need to bring anything.
Kenwood 03-29-2005, 11:02 AM So are you going too rick?? how many guys from up north do you have going???
erock1331 03-29-2005, 11:05 AM Sean,
Me, Adam Martin and Joel Biro will be there for sure.
I talked to Andy Stotts, him, Greg Finan and Kenny Mox are going, Maybe Shawn Reed and Crusty Dream, er I mean Dusty Dean.
Rick Liehr 03-29-2005, 01:45 PM Hey that guy in the right front corner looks like Dusty's brother.
hehehe
erock1331 03-29-2005, 02:05 PM Dusty said maybe bring a power strip, each pit has 2 plugs under the table.
Kenwood 03-29-2005, 02:29 PM The power strip was the only thing the TC guys told me I would need to bring...
What time are you guys planning on getting there...??? I figure Ill probably get there around noon or so..
Oh Eric>>> BTW the Dodge is Fine on flat....the car was slightly looser with the body versus the Monte>>> But I was still able to hold the car down fine in 19T and in stock... I know Platinum has tighter turns than what I usually run but even still my car had no problems... And the stock racing was a little bumpy to say the least and my car still stayed on the track just fine..I did keep my large superspeedway wing on it though..
erock1331 03-29-2005, 02:41 PM thanks Sean for the body tips
I plan on bringing both a Dodge and a Monte, I think for that track being so small the Monte might be the way to go...plus from talking to some that have run there said the track is pretty loose yet without much traffic on it.
Me and Adam plan on being there early, Joel said he will be there around noon.
Kenwood 03-29-2005, 02:47 PM Yeah I always bring both bodies...I try to get the dodge running right>>If I cant then Ill swap..
I may get there earlier But Since my car is set up already for flat I dont want to be there all day standing around waiting for the race... From the looks of it All I will need to do is turn my dual rate up 5% and Go.. ;)
erock1331 03-29-2005, 02:52 PM I have already dialed myself in, then out, then in, then back out again and I am not even at the track yet. 4 different setups on and off the car since last week, LOL
Gotta Love it. Someone call me tonight so I can put the 5th setup on it, haha
Kenwood 03-29-2005, 03:37 PM I know what you mean..But mine seemed really good this past week... While the 1 stock motor I brought to the track with me was weak>>>really weak..the car was still almost untouchable...Plus most of the guys said it was running smoother than it ever has in the turns.
I will know more after saturday when I can run with some of you guys who are typically on the top of your game every week..
Shush Ricky...you may want to bring tissues and a power strip..you gonna be sad in the B....lol
They also have an air compressor to,so you can that at home also.....
Dusty Dean
Rick Liehr 03-30-2005, 01:41 PM Don't worry Dusty....I'll bring you a large box of tissue cause I hear Doug B. is coming too.

Kenwood 04-01-2005, 11:27 AM Im still running stock>>>Im not sure if john meant myself and tim as "some guys" or if he has more guys coming up with him... I know myself as well as tim will be running stock trying to get ready for nats... :) I cant hang in flat track 19T.. :(
erock1331 04-01-2005, 11:34 AM Sean,
I told John the same thing, Stock for me. So I can prep for Halo. Besides I pretty much got rid of all my 19T's.
Kenwood 04-01-2005, 11:37 AM LOL>>> I made up your mind and answered for you anyway...LOL....I need you and some other fast guys to run stock so I can see how close/far off my setup is.. Before I invest in going to nats I want to make sure Im somewhat close to where othe fast guys are...
Im not looking to win at nats>>>but would rather not be last in the Z stock main.. LOL
erock1331 04-01-2005, 11:40 AM sounds good, see you bright and early tomorrow
