That thing must rip...or bog down.

I will have to try it myself and see what happens.

I was curious to that too, they guy took a little effort in getting that to fit it looks like with the brass tubing, heck I may buy it an see how it does , any Tyco chassis is worth a few $$$ if it has most of its basic parts :)

Your still running the same gear ratio, but in reverse, hummmmmmmmmm the new wave of HO gear setup :p

IF* you get it moving (probably can) It would fly. Probably almost uncontrolable. I have a tyco in my hand and have marked the arm and crown. Lets see what happens.
Results: STOCK Arm makes one rev, wheel makes .333 revs
GOOFY Arm makes one rev, wheel makes 3.5 revs
Ok.....it will go faster, but will it want to smoke the arm everytime you go from a dead stop until it is rolling? Maybe I will try it to.

Ha too funny. My guess is the first wall shot and that crown will smoke a couple of teeth. Your creating massive overdrive for the gear ratio. You will loose tons of bottom end power for uncontrollable top end speed.

Bonneville HO car?

And it has only 1 broken tab along with the gears...
A real keeper...

Those old 440x2 black chassis don't grow on trees. Those are awesome race chassis(almost worth pinning the broken tab). I've got a few that have been raced to death. They also don't flex as much as the grey x2 chassis. Just my opinion, try one for yourself. I've tried that gear setup before. Didn't wanna meash right so I gave up. Maybe if you would use a tiny crown like an 18 0r 20.
