rctom243 04-25-2005, 05:06 PM Echeconnee, What are the rules for your 6.5 break out class? Couldn't find anything on your web site regarding the rules for this class. Motor/gear/body/wing/batteries/weight????
Thanks
Tom
Echeconnee 04-25-2005, 11:59 PM Rules for all classes are as follows:
6.5 Break Out:
You may run any NASCAR or NASTRUCK body. You must run a pan car. You may run any battery, 6 or 4 cell in series. You may run any motor to include brushless. You can laugh and have a good time but you may not turn a lap faster than 6.5 seconds or you lose it. Goooood Luck! The race will be called but no lap times will be called out and positions may or may not be correct depending on how many 6.4 second laps you turn.
4 Cell Stock:
Any ROAR, NORRCA, ARCOR approved stock motor to include the epoxy balanced snow bird handout motor. Batteries up to 3700 mah. Minimum weight with transponder is 40 oz
Stock Truck:
Same as 4 cell stock but with a truck body. Spoiler max height is 2", no wings allowed.
4 cell Brushless Stock:
stock car rules apply except for motor. You must use a Novak 4300 or 5800 Brushless system set in stock mode to compete. No reverse
19t Modified:
ARCOR has the best rules for this class so we will use those (Thanks J.B.) they are posted @ www.arcor.com (http://www.arcor.com/) The ultrabird is also permitted.
Nitro Oval/ TBA
We will also have a 125 lap enduro race, we will draw 20 names and run two seperate 125 lap qualifiers and the top ten from both qualifiers will run in the 125 enduro for the $$$. There are a couple of other rules that will be explained just before the qualifiers. If you qualify in the top ten for the 125 enduro the entry fee for the race will be 10 dollars. If you win you get the 100 bucks, if you turn all 125 laps to win we match the 100 bucks for a total of 200 to win. This race was a blast last year and will be even better this year! You must run a 10th scale car or truck body, NASCAR style and you have to have a great time! TQ awards and 125 winner pay out will take place at my favorite eatin place , Byron Pizza @ exit 149 off I-75.
Hotel details are still being worked out and a flyer for entry will be available soon @ www.echeconneesuperspeedway.tk (http://www.echeconneesuperspeedway.tk/)
Please feel free to ask all the questions you like here and I will answer them all the same day here.
Echeconnee 06-05-2005, 10:14 PM Entry fee for first class will be $35.00 and $20.00 for each additional class.

www.echeconneesuperspeedway.tk
Echeconnee 07-21-2005, 05:58 PM Still trying to get the best deals on a hotel but I think the best thing to do is just suggest some hotels close to the track and good places to eat and let you guys just get on priceline or other internet discount service and get your best deal there. The fish fry is going to be a goodun and will save y'all from searching out a meal Friday night while trying to practice.

rctom243 08-19-2005, 11:31 AM Hey Cliff, can you explain the 125 race? Is it one battery pack to last 125 laps or are you allowing quick change cars and as many battery packs as you want and open motors. Fill us in.
Thanks

I think I can speak for everyone, "We had a great time". We had a light turn out but those who came were treated to some great door prizes from Raceway Mfg., RC4LESS, Mcallister racing bodies, Lefthander R/C and Raceway Motorsports. We also raffled off a new Hyperdrive Pro 3 that was supplied to us at a greatly reduced price and Bruce with RC4Less kicked in some ceramic bearings, diff balls and a set of orange hoops to finish off a killer racing package. As luck would have it a rookie racer named Justin Cox from Pooler GA won it. What a great way to get into the hobby! Lefthander sent a really cool scale board with the scales included, I know I am ordering one Monday. Race way sent a bunch of stuff which as you all know is all highly polished quality racing equipment. John with Raceway Motorsports kicked in a pit drop cloth and car hauler bag from Epic. Triplett with RC4LESS brought his stuff with him to race and he had some cool stuff, especially the ceramic bearing kits. We all like the Mcallister bodies, they have a real scale look and the price is right! Next year's race will be moved back to Memorial weekend and it will stay there until I stop promoting this race. Thanks to all who made the trip in spite of the ridiculous fuel prices. Wish I could just change the battereis in my real truck!!
Raptor_MS 08-21-2005, 07:16 PM As luck would have it a rookie racer named Justin Cox from Pooler GA won it.
That's awesome! Luck doesn't fly that way for me....LOL
I wished I could have made it, but I'm running behind getting my track together, so I spent all weekend in the heat working on it. Then Friday night after starring at those warped up beat to death walls, I decided to put new ones up like Rush and Son has. Is a track ever really finished.....LOL
Glad you had a good turnout....but I never read how the fish fry turned out?
Kenny@RAPTOR
Echeconnee 08-21-2005, 07:18 PM I will let the guys who were here answer that one. I am partilal, I did the cooking, lol
Raptor_MS 08-21-2005, 07:19 PM
David58 08-22-2005, 05:35 PM I wanted to go. I couldn't though, I have some injured family on the mend and, either on top of that or because of that, I had to work Saturday. I was depressed. Hopefully things will be straightened out enough in time for me to go to the SOTC. I'll probably be down there for a normal race shortly, though.
Donnie_99 08-22-2005, 06:15 PM fish fry was great i have to give him props on the food.
