I found an pick'd up a 6 car set 'o 1:64 scale car's at Wal - Mart.
Disney Racing Across America.
The car's were on card's an in a seal'd plastic case, said market'd by Wal - Mart. Pric'd at $3.96 a pop.
These worth anythin' or e'en 'avin', or did I jus' blow $24 + ?

They're worth what you paid for them. If you like them then they are worth having, if you don't then they're not.

I'm not into die-casts as an investment. But if they didn't oversell them, people who are into Disney / NASCAR will probably create a market. Trick is to catch the wave at the crest. Keep an eye out on the auction sites. As far as I'm concerned that is the best indication of what a die-cast is worth, not what some appraiser says. I've got a book of Lord Byron's Complete Works. Its been appraised at $900.00. Can't get $300.00 for it. What something is "worth" and what someone will pay for it is entirely two different things.......Anybody want to give me $300.00 for the book?

Well right on then. These car's were jus' an addition to the Hot Wheel's collection I'm makin' for mine daughter. Jus' gatherin' it now an 'opin' that when she's 'bout 20 or so she'd be able to get a decent amount 'o $ outta it all. Thank's for all the input.
