Hey, I just had to leave a note. I found a Ford GT40 today, its yellow with black stripes. Also its in 1/64th, Gotta love this. These cars are catching up with the big boys of diecast.

They made a white one with blue stripes which looks great too. I like the way the engine detail can be seen through the rear window.

I've got 3 of these GT40's, pleasing to look at, great detail. The card says 1:64 but when I place it next to a JL cobra, for example, the GT40 is huge. I've seen this size problem with a lot of different 1:64 size cars from different manufacturers. Just dosen't seem right. Yeah, I know, they're only toys. But the inequality in 1:64 size kinda bugs me.

I start up a thread about scaling of die cast model a while ago. There was a lot of good feedback on it. A link to this thread is here, http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/showthread.php?t=102636

Thanks for the link, good info. I see a lot of us don't like the 1:64 differences. I buy what I like in 1:64, even if it is too big to be 1:64. They still all display nice.

Thanks Magoo : I'll wait for now . Only wanted the one without vinyl top . Not as high a priority as GT40's . There are several swap meets coming in the next couple weeks . Will probably find it there . Havent seen any new wave10 cars at TRU .

Saw both of these GT40s at Target today. Hanging on the pegs with the other cars in its release. So many of their little car cards were covered with major dust, like no one ever goes there anymore to search for little cars. Ever since Target stopped carrying JL the rows that contain the diecast cars are deserted, except for the few mothers and little kids looking for nothing in particular. Used to be I'd always see guys there searching for little cars. Not anymore.
