JUNGLE13 03-20-2005, 05:32 PM I think the usual rule of thumb is 5 to 6 amps give or take a little. Lower usually gives longer run time, higher usually yields more voltage. If you have new packs I would start conservative and charge at 5. Lately I have been charging at 5.5 and repeaking at 6 on packs that have shown enough run time for the classes I run. DynoMoHum 03-21-2005, 11:07 AM Charge them on any good charger... A good charger should have adjustable 'delta' peak detection and/or a thermal device that senses when they are fully charged. Charging at 5 to 6 amps is safe, assuming your packs are in good working order. The delta peak voltage setting should be no more then say .1 volt per cell, much less then .05 volts per cell may lead to false peaking. There are some chargers that are acceptable that don't have adjustable delta peak values... however I personaly would strongly advise that you buy one that does have an adjustable delta value for peak detection. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
