 its a TVXL series 10hp, its on a craftsman RER and its oooold thats all i know
pulled the head(stored with head down on a ramp)
no wonder it turned a little and stopped, the cylinder was full of oil
ive got one deep line in the cylinder wall and a tan exhuast valve
this thing ran great before it sat on ramps in a shed for 3 years
i figured it would need a head gasket
the headgasket didnt come apart when i took the head off, its a metal gasket and is in great reuseable copdition somehow lol
it had a sears plug in it, it said sears and thats it, it either takes a j19lm or j8c
possibly a j17lm
in the bag that had the new carb, airfilter and hardware for the bagger kit there was a champion h10c plug, wtf?
i dont find it on any charts i got or on the net
what plug do i need??????? this is confusing hehe
lol

im gonna use valveoline oil and just clean up the muffler hopefully its good and just has outside rust

yeah when it sits down like that it'll drain oil and when you go to pull it over that oil will make so much compression it'll be almost impossible to pull over. 10 horse? autolite 458 or a champion ji7lm will be fine.

found the manual
h10c is the recommended plug
lol advance auto dont have it
autozone dont have and napa dont have
ok im screwed cuz the one i got is like reeeeaaaaallly bad
it looks like a j8c, but instead of having the screw on terminal it has a solid terminal
ngk does that too, but they have the same plug number, just its like bpr5esSOLID instead of bpr5es
but this is like j8c h10c
ok im stumped and i dont want to over heat it

Put the NGK in it...it will run alot better, especially since it's a "To sucky" engine.

10 horse or 3.5 horse. a 458 or j17lm will work. your right "to sucky" engines.

i was just using that plug number as an exaple, the right one for it would be j8c, ngk b4 or autolite 295 :freak: ive got a few j8c's i will uswe themz
