I need a briggs quantum starter piece that has the spring and the rope winds around. I have the starter and the things that catch on the flywheel to start it. I think the piece I need costs about 13 dollars at the dealer. Could I get one for less or free?

you know, if you throw it away and a person with a little knowhow. not much now but some gets it out of the trash and he spends maybe 10 minutes on the rewind he can get it working. and he'll probablly laugh at you. if it was me i would because it isn't that hard man to fix. if you can't do it. find a trash engine and scrap one off it. or get your dad to do it
