BrandO 03-17-2005, 08:29 PM If Muddy river is in the house I am there.
I will be there plus many more I know that are coming.from CT, NY, and mybe a few of the best oval racers in the country winners from the snowbirds.this one is going to be big.:)
BrandO 03-17-2005, 08:49 PM Who cares about all that Bojo. I am thinking Muddy River Ribs! How am I going to drive with BBQ sauce all over my fingers. The food with a little Hair metal playing in the backround. AAAAAHhhh it's going to be just like heaven. Just keep Bruno away from the pulled pork and beans. That could be a leathal combo.
PUF19 03-17-2005, 08:55 PM Heath that week end is Fairfeild Main's race week end?
NICK
Anchor2 03-17-2005, 08:58 PM Racing, food, music, door prizes, what a hoot! I may not want to go home when it is all done. I wonder if Bruno will be renting out spaces in his motor home? I'm not missing this race, might even run both classes, providing BrandO doesn't make a complete mess of the pit area with the rib sauce.
Anchor
BrandO 03-17-2005, 08:59 PM Heath that week end is Fairfeild Main's race week end?
NICK
It says April 10th for the Fairfield race I thought. Maybe I am missing something.
Maines Race Is April 10th
BrandO 03-17-2005, 09:01 PM Am I the only one who's hungry?
dancingd 03-17-2005, 09:17 PM Where there is food there is Dancingd...
Anchor2 03-17-2005, 09:21 PM I wonder if that sauce would make good comm drops?
PUF19 03-17-2005, 09:57 PM ok cool, my bad...
NICK

Maximus Raceway 03-18-2005, 11:55 AM Bud, how are you doing? The first qualifier will start at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday.
bud3738 03-18-2005, 02:45 PM hey heath....What time does the track open Sunday AM......if qaulifiers are going off that early.......I would think by the time the barbecue starts...You will probably only have the mains to run........Just trying to figure what time ill be home....working early Mon. morning.........trying to figure what time ill be home...seeing if I can pull this off and make the event.........
Maximus Raceway 03-18-2005, 03:12 PM Bud -doors will open at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday.
Heath
PUF19 03-18-2005, 06:23 PM Heath, that 50$ entry, is that with a hand out motor for stock?
NICK
Nick no hand out the 50$ is for the two days and the food. You don't have to be a Roar member. This is not a roar race.
mfortuna 03-19-2005, 11:44 AM I plan to go even though I'm sure to get my butt soundly kicked and I'm on a diet, to boot. Mmmmm ribs..... drool. I'll make sure I'll only eat the low fat ones.
With 106 starting up, I will only be able to stop by for a practice run or two late Saturday.
Mike

PUF19 03-20-2005, 06:47 PM lOOKS LIKE A NEW RECORD WAS SET TODAY John Zapor 56 4:02.691
BrandO 03-20-2005, 07:43 PM The track is a little different now since Nick set the 55. Heath built a new infield. The length of the track was a little shorter. Don't get me wrong John was awesome today. But to compare the two records really isn't fair. Is the track lenght going to stay the way it is Heath? Or will it be put back to the original length?
dancingd 03-20-2005, 08:13 PM Nice run Z-man...Whats this about the track being shorten??? Whats the track size now????

Since the overall consensus of the new infield and end caps has been positive. I will be lengthening the track to it original size. This should be completed for the Sunday race in two weeks.
Maximus
mybe 2 feet at the most. It was just for today. he has a new infield REAL NICE.you can't jump over it and new conners. he can make the track any size.DD have you seen the new hobby shop there yet?
Maximus Raceway 03-20-2005, 09:48 PM Nice run Z-man...Whats this about the track being shorten??? Whats the track size now????

Maximus Raceway 03-20-2005, 10:05 PM Z-Man and Pace are dialing in stock more and more every week.
Siegel, Brando and Payea are also stepping it up every race.
Lets get the TQ guys and the RI boys up here - Nick D, Big Mike and Little Mike.
Things will start heating-up then.
To many great drivers out there to name.
Lets get the word out and round them up.
I want to see some records broken at this race.
Maybe we can get Jeremy out of hibernation for this one. After all he has pulled off 55 laps.
Lambert stock at Maximus. I am ready for it.
I not even going to start talking 19T.
What do you guys think?
Good racing or what...

BrandO 03-24-2005, 06:24 PM Oh it's a race! I thought it was a BBQ rib eating contest, My bad.
dancingd 03-24-2005, 07:00 PM Good thing it isn't a bbq rib eating contest...Because they wouldn't make a profit:)
BrandO 03-24-2005, 07:50 PM Ya, we are not exactly a low fat crowd! Only carb I am worried about is the one bolted on top of an engine. And if it's green it belongs in my lawn mower bagger not on my plate.

I will be close, but I don't know at this point how many racers there will be. I will have a better idea in a week or two.
Heath
BrandO 03-26-2005, 10:29 AM Even starting that early I doubt if we could be done by 3:30. I guess it will depend on turnout. How long did thae last trophy race take to run off? I think there should be a good size group of people showing up. You could always come down with something. Cough, cough, cough. Or maybe an allergic reaction to the BBQ sauce.
dancingd 03-26-2005, 10:54 AM I don't need to cough, cough this time...My boss gave me the time off...:)
