I have just bought this audi tt car and i was woundering if therez any aftermarket parts i can buy for this car.

This car is from Dickies and is 1:12 scale. It runs pretty smooth and fast but i have the desire to make it faster. I was woundering about adding more voltage from 7.2volts to 8.4 volts. And a dual 540 motor.

Generaly cars like this will NOT like having an additional two cells or 2.4 volts added to their system. It may work for a short period of time, but it will almost certianly reduce the life span of the car's electonics and mechanicals...

You know if you want to get this heavily into modifying RC cars, you're probably MUCH better off by buying a kit... and learing more about electrionics, motors, and even the mechanics of RC vehicles.

ya i'm thinking about buying a tamiya kit for 199. I'm an advanced soldering person thanks to my modded xbox and xbox-scene. But i haven't seen any pages on the eletronics inside this car so this project is gonna be interesting. :dude:

Oh crap, one of my motors that i was gonna put in the car broke or something. Itz a regular 540 motor with one capitor. I tried soldering it back together but it doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know any good stock eletric motors that would work for my car? also links to shops would be grealty appreciated.

Anyhelp?
