According to www.starwars.com, they're approximately 8" x 10.5" x 1.5" and made from cold-cast resin.

They're putting out classic Monster posters as well... at least I saw a photo of a Creature from the Black Lagoon relief poster in Toy Shop a few weeks ago.
That's more my speed.
