I bought a diecast magazine last night call “Diecast X” or DCX. According to it’s web site, this is just it’s second issue. I found it interesting: it reviews diecast vehicles, car and aircraft, with a score from 1 to 5 in different areas; they have articles on real world cars (the one I liked was talked about the Hemi Cuda); and the photography is pretty good. Is it comparable to “Toy Cars & Models”? not really, TCM is mainly a toy magazine that covers many scales and subjects. DCX appears to be aimed at car enthusiasts who like to collect diecast. It seems to stay with the larger scale diecast and subject matter is limited to diecast, no slots or kits. Anyway, my two cents on a new magazine. It comes out quarterly and for 6 dollars it worth taking a look at.
Or maybe I just like shiny pictures.

Anyone going to the Collectors Expo in May that is being put on by DCX? Just curious if it's worth it.
