Hi Gang
Here is one of my new SSR Pickup's painted. Hope ya like it, it was the color my wife picked for "her" truck.

I really like the looks of that one, including the color.

Hi Gang
Here is a photo of both our SSR's, all painted and ready for more track testing. Mine's the 2 tone one. The final inner mold will be poured this weekend, following final testing and adjustments.

Hi Dave
The color that I thought was "French Vanilla" is actually Krylon Fusion brand "Blonde Shimmer", comes in a shakey can, my wife picked it up at Wal Mart last week. It dries a kinda semi gloss, so be prepaired to ues plenty of clear/future to get a shine on it. It does have some metallic in it, you cant really see the met. in the photo, and looks better in person than in the pics.

Larry,

Thanks! Have no problem with using shakey cans. Dumped my compressor and air brush a couple of years back when I stopped painting anything larger than HO. ;) Dave

looks great!! Is there a small guide listed anywhere on what you'd want to use as far as paint types go for these? Or can I just take hobby paint to em and spray a clear coat on. I used to like using Tamiya (sp?) paints on my models. But if I can just get a can of cheap paint from Wally world that would be nice.
