Just wondering if any tracks out there are running a Craftsman Truck Series?

If so, are the rules any different from the regular 1:10 oval rules you use?
Just using Truck Bodies?

Thanks,
Shan

Yes,

Carolina R/C Speedway has a 4 cell spec truck class. The class uses spec radials, Trinity spec motors and Trinity 4 cell spec battery packs. We also use the Race Prep "R" brushes. Also, ARCOR has changed their 4 cell spec class to truck bodies. Hope this helps!

Lakes Region R/C Speedway in New Hampshire runs a Craftsman Truck class.
Pretty much same rules as cars, except 19T Chameleon motors..
The guys have them running very well.
Actually VERY close to the NASCAR cars.

At Lakes Region R/C Speedway in Gilford NH. we run a craftmens truck class. We use it as an intermediate class between Busch (stock) and Nextel (Arcor 19 turns). We have to run Chameleon motors only, nastruck body, a minimum weight of 2lbs 7oz. w/ transpounders and minimum height 4 1/2 inches.

I hope this helps,
Tim

Wow that was scary that Dan was posting at the same time!

There is a chance that we will run some form of outdoor racing this summer. All procceeds would go to the LAF (http://www.laf.org) and I do mean every penny. I have cancer and I can't think of a better way to spend my weekend then racing r/c and helping to find a cure, ya know? :) I have raised $3,681.00 to date. My goal is to reach $15,000 by September.

I am still trying to find sponsors, a parking lot, and building materials. I do have the AMBrc system, computer, and lap counting software already.

Would love to race asphalt this summer. I go up to fairport once a month. Lost a lot of my family to the disease so count me to help. Might want o think about handout motors and Rollout limits would make very close fun racing. Probably could get some motors if contact the companies. Especially about what your trying to do!
Cheers
