I was told by a few people that a soild car works better on a banked track than a slider? I am intrested is seeing what people have to say also.

My solid car is way more aggressive than my slider. Both are on a banked track!

Hope this helps......

By the way... Both cars are awesome!!!!

Having run both type of ksg's on banked and flat tracks i would have to say the slider if i could only choose one.Mainly because of the abilty to slide the battery in small increments instead of moving it one slot.Alot easier to dial into a track. My 2 pennies. MZ

I have to agree with The Bat. My slider has worked well on both medium banked asphalt as well as flat carpet. If you are going to run extreme banking like BMS, then I would go with the solid. My slider is alot easier to dial in than my solid.

I would say the SOLID chassis hands down. Anytime you have a very small flexing chassis, that will always help you, especially in modified on a banked track. I have run both in mod and I can run the solid chassis with 6 points less on the dual rate and still have the same amount of steering compared to the slider. Although I have gone 3 seconds faster on the slider car in my personal best, but this was with a new chassis and fresh sticks??? So I dont know.

In all honesty, I like the solid car because it always seems to be consistent from week to week, no sliding the tray or too much flex from the narrowed chassis as opposed to the slider.

Case in point, KSG cars, slider or solid will always be the chassis of my choice. And no I am not sponsored by them so I dont have to say this!!! They are simply a great car!!!!!

P.S - BAT---- You coming up for the Open next week?????????

I run contrary to most others but I prefer my solid on flat carpet and my slider on banked tracks.

I would say they are both good cars. I hold the track records at are local track with both cars. 19t record with a slider and the stock record with a solid. But if i had to pick one over the other it would be the slider. The reason is, the unlimited movement of the batteries. My 2 cents
