I was planning on going to the truck race on April 9th, stay over and go to the Nextel on April 10th. I know how hard it is to get rooms there so I made reservations about a year ahead of time (may 2, 2004) They made the announcement of the changed date on may 14th so I jumped on line and changed my reservation, No problem. Got the rooms for 53 bux each, probably because they had changed it in the computer to being race weekend. So today I get a call from them saying, "we're sorry, we made a mistake and overbooked" Then they tried to blame it on NASCAR saying that they had contracts with them for blocks of rooms. I told them when they confirmed my reservation back in may they also had a contract with me!

The lady told me the only thing she could do was get me a room at the holiday inn express in Greensboro NC! thats like 60 miles south of the track and I live north! I am so mad I could &%$#@......uh....spit!

I'm calling corperate in the morning!

They screwed up, they should comp the room for the whole weekend!
