Hi everyone,

I building some new cars for our next Proxy race (http://p198.ezboard.com/fhomeracingworldfrm9.showMessage?topicID=1068.topi c). This time its at Philipe Marchand's track in sunny CA. There are three classes but the one I'm looking forward too is the Limited Modifiedc class. It requires all the stock Artin parts but you can use any body, modify the chassis so the body fits ie wheelbase or height. I had to turn the motor 180 with the contact tabs up and cut the chassis to lower the motor down. SInce there is no room for an interior I made a scan of the top of the car and a decal for the interior. ALl thats left is the interior decal and a trip to the Future shop and she is ready for fine tuning of the tires and body height.

Roger.....

Your stuff is always top notch, and thiis Porsche is no exception.I 'm always sure to check your posts whenever I see your name on here.Very inspirational.

Sorry to hear that you have scaled back on the resin bodies that you had offered in the past. There are definetly a few you have that are on my want list, but I have been disciplining myself to spend my hobby money ONLY on my track until it is complete. If I didn't it would never get done.

I'll be watching for your posts here with your offerings. In the meantime, keep those pics coming,I really enjoy them.

I tried a couple of different things this time. I painted the headlights with Future floor wax that had some white pigment added and I pianted over the windshield with Future with a black pigment added. I like the way both came out. I made a decal of the interior and applied it. I want rework this as I am not satisfied with it. And Wally's is a nice piece I picked up on ebay and is slated for my 1/43 track when I build it.

Wow.That service station looks really nice.

By the looks of ol' Wallys face up on the sign,I think he really likes the Porsche as well.
