Now that trailer looked faithful to the book.

I honestly can't say I've seen a lot of trailers that begin "In a world ... "

The trailers wouldn't play for me, except the Quicktime - and for that one, my computer wouldn't play the sound! Oh, well, it still looks good.

BWA HA HA HA HA HAHH!!!! Man, now THAT made me want to see it! EXACTLY the same "tone" with which the book was written!

Unlike the earlier trailer that was posted in another thread, not only was the tone more "hitch-hikey", but there was also other recognizable things from the book besides the Vogon construction fleet, like the smart dolphins and the unfortunate whale.

At first glance, it looks like the original trailer was cut to appeal to the "summer blockbuster" crowd, while the second was for towel-packing fans of the book.

Do you think they will be showing the unfortunate whale carcus when they are on Magatheira?
