I have recently bought a new kyosho ultima RB racing sports car and ive have a problem with the main gear. I have gone through 4 main gears and the problem is always the same thing with it, which is the main gear it wears down straight away and all the groves on the cog melt into each other so it doesnt rotate into the other cog causing it not to move. Can anyone give me a bit of advice on what to do or where i can get a aluminum main gear from as ive looked everywhere for one and cant find one.

most likley you don't have the gear mesh set correctly. use the paper trick to set it. take a small strip of regular notebook paper and position it between the gears and push them snug together. tighten everything down good (use locktite on all metal to metal screws) and you should be good to go.
