well ill start by saying hi new to the forum needed some help and have read many threads on here but this is my first post. now the question i have a older duratrax mt and am having troubles keeping the steering servo intact keeps stripping gears i dont hit anything and tried a servo saver but it keep flipping it out and i had to keep reseting i than toke it off and stripped the gears in like 3 min need help before i throw it out in the road and ran it over a few hundred times and ideas apperciated thank you :thumbsup: [COLOR=Red]

just buy a metel geared servo from futaba or another high end company.

Get a high torque metal gear servo. Jr,Hitec, futaba. all make a good strong servo.

so you dont think i have a linkage problem or over turning the servo or something else like that

One possible issue about the servo saver... Please keep in mind that different servos have different spline patterns on the output shaft. One easy mistake to make is to use a servo for say a futaba servo on an Airtronics servo -- it will SEEM to press on OK, but with use, the mis-matched splines will slip, causing the steering "drift" off center, etc...

Your local hobby shop should be able to help you find a servo saver to fit you brand of servo...
