Leave The Milky Way behind. Let's have a ship exploring an entire new galaxy like TOS Enterprise explored ours.

Its already been done, it was called Star Trek:The Next Generation!! ;)

They already considered this idea a few years ago I think; too expensive and time-consuming to do a show where every actor needs three hours of makeup. And I'm about Klingoned out, frankly.

I'm also not sure about going further into the future...I mean, how much more PERFECT can humanity get? Imagine a Captain a hundred times more flawless and condescending that Jean-Luc Picard! Someone get me a pillow...

With the ideas coming from Hollywood for Sci-fi TV and Movies, and with as many copies of old 60's and 70's shows, I wonder why anyone would listen to the opinions of ANYONE who worked in TV or the Movies. Those people are MORONS...or on DRUGS! Plots and nuance replaced with CGI and stupid shallow actor tricks...Jeez.

Warp 50 is impossible, as warp10 is infinite velocity

They basically already did that show. It was called Voyager. Most old trek fans would like to forget it
