Just picked up a used Milenium pro and was wondering what setups you guys use for oval. Nimh2? Nicad? Threshold ect???

Nicad @ 6A
10mV per cell for deadshorted packs
8mV per cell for packs "not deadshorted"

This charger does not have a long lockout feature (thus increasing the cutoff for deadshorted packs in order to prevent false peaks).

Is that correct? You are using the NiCad setting for the 3300's?

When I had mine I set it on Nimh. For nickel metal's use the nimh setting, and use nicad for nicad's

Trust Steve, he's been around the block on this stuff, use the nicad profile on your 3300's. Using the nimh may false peak, and make the pack feel like they are flat. Just make sure you watch the pack temp when charging and if the pack is comming off deadshort they can false peak easily.

ThanksOn the older Milleniums,the max charge rate for NiMH was around 2.0A. On the Pro models,the peak detect on the NiMH setting is preset & non-adjustable. Thus using the NiCad settings for NiMH,because of what Steve said about false peaking w/deadshorted packs because of the lack of a long lockout feature.
