What a day!!! Even though I pretty much had a bad day ON the track (but it happens to the best of us right?) Note to self - don't rub Taz's head for good luck ----it doesn't work ;) But at least now I know what I have to do to get the T4 ready for next week.....starting with moving the on/off switch!!!

It was an uber fun day overall. Thanks guys for putting it on!!!

Someone thinking they are funny and turning on thier radio during the truck A-main, 3 of us had our trucks go crazy at seperate times all within 30 seconds, then everyone was fine. Obviously they had a novak switch or somekind of tunable radio... they targeted the top 5 trucks.

Time to buy a spektrum...

Jon, its time to start doing radio impound again...

NO WAY! That's crazy. But it does explain a lot, we were wondering what the heck you were doing. Thought you were trying to get some artistic moves in on the track. Sorry to hear that happened to you though, that's just wrong.

We had the priviledge to pit next to the Novice 1st placer. I tell you what, listening to him made my day. He was such a cute little guy and he was so excited and nervous. THAT is what racing SHOULD be!!!! A BIG Congrats to him and hope to see him back out to the track someday.

Just like any other "sport", bad people will show up. I saw many people I had never seen before. It even seems some were "sand bagging" to race in a lower main just to take first. Too bad it has to be like that but this is reality. I would have been happy to qualify last in the A-main and know I wouldn't win a trophy to compete against the "best". I'm still happy to take 2nd In the B-main. Now get to work LOONY and change the track back! Lisa doesn't have any way to compare lap times to since she has a T4 now.

Yeah....we'll blame those two 13 laps on the track design. Good goin' Looney!! ;) (It couldn't possibly been MY driving or the offset shock towers that could have been the problem!!)
I still think the 'synchronized flips' with Bert were the highlight of the mains!!!

 Just wonted to say thanks to everybody for coming out and racing at Hobby-Sports.com saturday and voting for dirt our carpet. It was a great day of racing and I think doing the re-sort realy helped match drivers up before the mains for better heat racing.

Hey Jon,
Some food for thought. If a Novice racer runs 15 laps, they get to run in the stock class in the main. I'm thinking, if a racer is in the stock class and can't get in 1 15 lap or better run in the 3 qualifiers, than they should have to run with the novice in the mains. I see last weekend there were 4 racers that didn't do 1 15 lap run. There would be exceptions if someone had problems all day but you knew they were a top racer. I don't think it is fair to the other racers that made it out of novice and may be in the C main to try to get around a 13 or worse lap truck. Jim

Jim I can move people out of novice class but I can't tell them what class to race. Most of the time when they do move out of novice they do much better in a week our two of running with better drivers. Its all about driving around people. Some times I lap people three times in a A main race their is no diffrence. Thanks for the input.
