I purchased and opened up about half of the BIG TIME MUSCLE series. I noticed that a couple of them don't roll very smoothly. One appears to have the axel slightly bent on the rear wheels and it's new out of the package.
I wonder if part of the problem is that the real wheels are so wide that there's not much margin for error to mount and align them.
Anyone else see the same thing?

So far, the 1:64 and 1:24 scales cars that I've opened from the Bigtime Muscle Series all roll nicely. The quality issues I've noticed are the dust boogers in the paint, which can be a little tough to avoid. I've also noticed some casting slag at tops of door surfaces, and the rubber tends to slide parcially off the rims on some of the 1:64 pieces. Check your cars to see if that's whats making them not roll.
Other than that, I think they are pretty well done for the price.

I busted my 1:64 Chevelle out and it seemed to "wobble" when I pushed it. Something like the MM's do. You might be on to something with the tires being so wide. The wider they are, the more surface area that needs flat contact.
Just for grins, I put my 'Velle in my Giovanni case. Holy shnikeez, there's barely a 1/32" clearance on the total length.

In order for the cars to ride smoothly with these wider tires, the axles have to be pressed into the hubs so that they are really concentric to each other. It becomes very noticable with those wide meats when they aren't right-on. If the tires won't roll, it's probably that the rims were pushed onto the axles too far and will just need to be pulled out a little.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the suggestions. I noticed that one didn't have the tire tred slid all the way out evenly on the rim.
One looks like there's something between the tire and the rim, possibly the size of a tiny grain of sand. It might be a small dimple on the inside tread. Any way, just aligning the tire on the rim doesn't fix it on this one. It's got a bump.
