Skymods 02-20-2005, 09:46 PM If you have a DVD player on your computer, check the software that came with it. Many already have that capability. Dave John O 02-20-2005, 10:21 PM Yup. I recently bought a DVD player for the computer specifically for doing screen caps and the screen cap "button" is right on the player/driver control panel. My only complaint is that it doesn't let me set the preferences as to the file type or size, so I'm initilly stuck with very large bitmap files that I then have to convert. John O. X15-A2 02-22-2005, 12:54 PM I use "Power DVD". My computer came loaded with it but I discovered that you need a special version to do screen caps so I went online and bought a downloadable upgrade (cost me $80 I think). It has been great, it allows you to make full-screen sized caps from DVDs. The initial image file is a whopping 2.5MB bmp but you can batch-process them in Photoshop to convert them into jpgs or whatever image type you prefer. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
