TIME FOR EVERY BRUSHLESS RACER TO SPEAK UP. I called Josh tonight and we discussed the option of substituting a brushless 1/10th scale class for the 1/12th stock class. Josh is open to but it will be sell and COMITTMENT FOR YOUR ATTENDANCE to have the class. Josh has held the NORRCA nats and typical race nights with none to little brushless interest. IF YOU WANT THIS CLASS you will need to commit to being there.

Again ROAR does not dictate classes as brushless is not an offical class as of yet. ROAR has been on the forefrontof brushless but THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY THINGs to hash out prior to setting rules. Bob Novak has been at the last two ExComm meetings discussing the class. So please stop the ROAR bashing as it is not necessary.

E-mail ONLY DO NOT CALL AND BUG HIM at joshcyrul@cefx.net and me at kenny@team1rc.com . You are being asked to provide written confirmation that YOU will attend if the class is offered. EACH PERSON ASKIGN TO HAVE BRUSHLESS MUST REPLY NOT JUST ONE PERSON SAYING HE/SHE WILL BRING 6 DRIVERS. WE WILL NEED A TRUE HEAD COUNT. Josh and I will talk in few days to discuss the final decisin on class swapping. Brushless would replace one 1/12TH class and not be added to the class inventory.

I have stepped to the plate for us oval guys a few years ago under the same situation, and the class attendance was a flop. Make it happen if oyu want it.

It would have been nice to go to this race but with little info and many big races stacked up back to back in late March and early April I commited my vacation time to 2 paved races.

I understand that ROAR is volunteers and tries it's best to schedule their events. Many people have to schedule their vacation time early in the year to make sure they get the time off.I would have gone to this race but my vacation had to be in last month.

I guess my point is attendence could be boosted at ROAR oval events if the information was out by Jan 1 on when and where the National races were with some firm details in place.
