We have hashed it out and John Kohan will be assuming the reigns for Region 5. John is on board and ready to go.
His contact information is:
John Kohan
4737 Cemetery Road
Hilliard, Ohio 43026
(614)771-0121
jkohan@columbus.rr.com
Walter Henderson will remain as assistant.
This is a big step for the region and John is excited. I have reaffirmed with John that even though I am no longer the director, that I will remain his contact for questions not only as past director but as Track administrator. We'll give John full support here. This will now allow me to concentrate fully on the ExComm. John is the organizer of the Ohio Offroad series which was very successful this past year.
I have to say thanks to all of my region members and tracks for your support and the opportunity to help get the region to the forefront and now the third largest region in ROAR (second to Florida and CA)! Full stats of the region are in the next Rev-Up. I know I may not have always been available, but my wife will tell you first hand about the long hours, phone calls and e-mails. It has been definitely an educational 3 years and hopefully many more to come as a member of the ExComm. THANKS!
So please give John all the support as possible. John will also take over the website in the next few months.
I wish I could shake each of your hands, but in place of that....thank you! Please remeber one thing, this is a hobby and have fun!
