can any one tell me step by step what i would need to to make my own resin kits. and were i can get wheels like matchbox or johnny lightning 1\64 wheels. and does any one know were i can get light bars? if any one can help me out and how do i go about messuring the scale when i am making a resin kit? do i take a vec i have apart use that as the first mold? if any one can help me please get back to me on here or e-mail me direct at toypark@aol.com

Try those places, plus sift through these boards a bit. Roger Corrie posted his how-to here not too long ago. He goes by vaBcHRog.
Road Race Replicas is a place you can get wheels, though I don't know about light bars. (I assume you mean like on a cop car?)

hi thanks for the info. i am new to the bored so i am not sure how to find a memeber direct. one link you said doesint work but the other one i looked at. do i need to by a speshal oven? and yes i am looking for police,dot light bars. do you know how i can go about making windows? and the link to the wheels site didint work. if you have any more tips please let me know

I checked both links and they seem to work for me, although the Alumite one was kinda slow loading.
The place i referred you to is Road Race Replicas. http://www.ho-slotcars.com/ (It probably didn't work because I didn't give you a link the first time.)
You won't need an oven for standard resin casting. Windows I can't help you with. (I haven't actually done any casting...I'm just recanting advice thats already been given.)
Like I said, sift through these boards for stuff about resin casting. There's lots there. Just be patient...slot cars aren't a hobby for the "gotta have it now" hobbyist.

i dont mind taking the time to make it i just want it to come out the way i want. if i put the clay over a bus do i lose the bus? i dont have that many road champs buses can i want to give one up. if any one knows how i can keep some thing after i put the resin clay on it let me know
