I first noticed Jada 1/64th Street Lows back around 2000. I thought they looked great so I bought all the different castings and colors. Each of the eight castings was a winner, (even though I didn't care for the Continental kit on the Impala), with the possible exception of the Astro Van.
I'm curious. We're these Street Lows the first 1/64th released by Jada? If so, does anyone know if the production numbers were lower or higher than those of Jada today?
Are these particular cars hard to find nowadays, and does anyone ever see them for sale.
Particularly good looking is a black '57 Suburban with blue pinstripes and rear skirts.
I've bought enough diecast to know to buy it because you like it. But has the Jada collector community grown to such proportions that any of the early stuff is highly sought after, or, is bringing a premium?
I'm just curious. To me the new Homie Rollers are very much like the style of the Street Lows. It's good to see that the Homies and Dub City's are continuing to offer classy. realistic street cars.
