Got some new cars today . 1/18 70 Shelby - Grabber Blue , 1970 Torino - Orange , 1971 Duster Twister - Green . They should of made the 71 Torino Cobra in Orange a long time ago ...... This 1970 Torino has the black on the hood wrong . There is no body color through the middle on a '70 . Its a '71 paint scheme for the flat black . Otherwise its correct . Still waiting for the teal 70 Shelby .

I especially like the blue Mustang....the orange Torino...saw one at a drag strip last year...it had a 429 CJ I think..it was on display with a few other cars..all orange..no black... and the guy had a small tv in back..go figure..

I don't have any large scale yet, bit those are pretty sweet. How much do those puppies run? How do they compare with other brands?

Thanks

Ertls new Elite series are around $30 . The toy vendor said there will be few cars from Ertl anymore in the $20 range . Ertls quality is very good for the most part . But you have to consider the price range . If you want super detailing , working features , lots of separate trim parts added on for more realism . Then you are going to spend $60 & up for a 1/18 car . - Such as GMP , Lane or Auto Art cars . I bought the new Ertl 69 Cougars & a Road Signature 66 Cyclone too . I will post pics soon . The Elite series cars have more details such as wired engines , more trim details or opening trunks . I considered buying the new 62 Grand Prix , but didnt like the colors offered at this time .
