The bug is a Road Champs. I repainted it and trimmed the wheels. The red deck on the back is from the HW blue slot truck. I can't remember where the roll bar came from. The decals are from the JL Rebel Rods.

The Jeep is a Maisto GI Joe, stripped & repainted. Detailed the dash, steering wheel, gas cans, and winch. Chrome paint on the bumpers.
Disregard the front wheels. The rear ones came off a MM '32 Ford Roadster. I had to buy another one to get the wheels for the front. As I was about to rip it open, I noticed the picture card was upside down. I just couldn't open it, so I have to buy another one.

Thanks for the look.

Gotta find the tripod & work on getting a cleaner pic.

Jeff, yes, it came that way. Picked it up at a flea market. It was this hideous color green.

Good job...! Monster Bug..!! more pics of the Jeep when she's done..!
Looks like you got some good detail put into this one..
good idea for those Rebel Rod decals..often wondered how some customizers were able to size them down to scale to use. Is there computer software for this..?

Bugzy, I know you can by a decal kit with the disc at WM for about 5-6 bucks. I was even looking at it yesterday, by changed my mind. I know others on the board have it, so maybe someone can fill you in.

Thanks for the comments guys!
