At 14 Bucks a pair I was alittle worried about the performance because of the long wear life. Trinity told me to skim the comm about every 2 or 3 runs and I should be able to run these for 30 runs. That's with out loosing any performance. I said "30 RUNS!!!". I bought 2 pair and put one in a Monster Stock and the other set in a Roar Epic 2 mag. I have never seen a stock motor put out the #'s that it did on the dyno ...WOW!. We'll see what it does on the track but very impressive so far.

I tested these last week end @ RC madness, you can go 5 runs with out
cutting the com, before it will drop off. # were ok on the dyno, a bit less then
other brushes, but on the track they were real stought! i did TQ with them,
after 7 runs i cut the com, same brushes and it was better then the first build!
they pull hard, and are real easy on the com, only had to take .05 off the com
to get the serrate lines off.

With other brushes ( Putnam , F brush & 767's ) I ran a purple spring on + and green on the Neg. and the #'s were a bit lower with those springs. I took the purple off the + and put a red on and they surpassed the other brushes by a bit . So try that. again I run 4 cell stock and the motors were Monsters and 2 mag epic's. They say they get better as you go through them . But if you can get that many runs out of them wouldn't it be worth the $14 . So long as they run as good or better than the others. 30 runs is alot....lol

Could you post some of the "#'s" that you are getting from these brushes in comparison to what you got on your dyno from the other brushes you were running b4?.

I have been running the Putnam greens and the f brush lately. So here are the #'s I got .This is a Fantom Dyno. But the #'s still relate to one another.

Epic Roar Stock

Putnam 69 24000
F brush 68 23888
XXX Brush 70 23500

Monster Stock

Putnam 71 24500
F-brush 68 24300
XXX 72 24100
I used red + green - springs . Like I said it is a fantom dyno and it reads a little high but the #'s still relate . They are good brushes.

Well they made the track debt and I must say . These are some GREAT brushes. very consistant and stout. never fell off in the 4 runs I ran it and was very happy with the performance. Got in a scuffle or the 4 cell stock record would have fallen. I'll get it next week...lol

What kind of amps do they draw at 2 volts no fan on a Monster or Epic Roar stock?

Nothing that will blow your doors off. 9 to 10 but amp draw has nothing to do with on track performace. I have had motors pull loads of amps and be a big turd and I have had motors pull 7 amps and be on record runs. amp draw means nothing in my book.

Just was curious, I like to see 9-10 range.
I agree amp draw does not equal on track performance, I mainly like to see 9-10, then I know the motor is at least performing right (nothing bound up, etc) and the brushes are usually good if it hits that range.

i agree amp draw means nada and niether do dynos, I have had motors pull 13-14amps and run like dawgs and 7 amp motors run like dawgs big number's on the dyno and ran like a turd on the track and numbers people laugh at on the dyno and run track records i get my motors to pull 10amps with no arching runs smooth on the turbo and i bolt it in give or take an amp as long as its smoooth and agian no arching. dynos and amp draw are over rated.

The more I run these the better they get. Man o man what a Brush. This brush and Putnam Green are the only way to go. The XXX brush just lasts longer than the Putnam both perform about the same. If you have not tried them yet because of the price just cough it up you won't be disappointed.

Anyone try out the new Trinity "E" brush?
I guess it has an E stamped on the back much like the F brush.

anyone know who has em and if they are available yet?

You huys ought to try the new batch of 767. I built a couple this past weekend for ET and they were pretty good. 9 amps right off the bat. Just were I like a stocker to be. He ran the quickest anybody has run at sandhills this year on a green track pretty impessive.
