Does anyone know anything about a Promax power supply, their ad states that it has three outputs, 10.8/11.8volts 25amp and one 5volt 30amp and that the lower voltage is key to charging cells without creating heat and with this type of pure DC output you can charge at 7amps and the heat build up in the cells are reduced, what we have learned is that hitting the cells with voltage is not the way to charge and get the highest voltage out of cells when racing, our best results came when we used the lower voltage 10.8 to 11.8 and a pure clean DC output. I would like to hear opinions from all you racers on this, thanks.

I'm assuming that your see these on E-bay, being sold out of RI. I have one and it works great. Do I think all the stuff about the lower voltage meaning anything, No. The batteries still get warm/hot when you are charging at 6 or 7 amps. I have used it for about a year now with no trouble. I'm able to run 3 chargers (2 turbos and 1 millenium) at the same time. The only thing that is kind of funky about the power supply is, if you take the batttery off before it peaks without hitting the off butt on the charger the power supply will sometimes turn off. All you have to do unplug it and wait 10-15 second and plug it back in. The supplier of the power supply outlines it in the directions. I'm thinking about getting another one so now that I've given a good review I suppose I have to bid against you now, LOL.

Hope this helped,
