OK im getting a moster truck. I was thinking about a savage and then i saw the Revo. What should i get? Remember Revo did win truck of the year.

It depends if 80% of the time you are going to race or 80% your going to bash in the woods or in your backyard.

If you are going to race, the Revo will be better and there are now plenty of racing hop-ups. Finding differnt bodies and bump box for the Revo are pain if you care about those things.

If you are going to bash, the savage is a tank!!! I know people who have purchased parts for the Savage only to never use them because the thing is very hard to break. However, as a race truck it takes a lot more work than the Revo.

Both are great, find which one is most supported by your LHS.

I have had to call both HPI and Traxxas phone support and both are great but the HPI phone line seems to take a little bit longer to get to someone.
